We’re opening our Farm Larder for a very low key market day this Easter Saturday.
In anticipation of some big events coming up in the next few weeks, this one is being kept deliberately simple with small numbers. So, free entry but bookings are essential.
If you’re looking for something in particular from the Farm Larder please check the online store to make sure we have stock available – we don’t like to disappoint.
You’re welcome to linger longer and enjoy a picnic in the paddock but please BYO all food & drinks – we won’t have any on-farm catering options for these. Other than delicious Jersey Girl ice creams of course!
Bags of feed for the animals will be available for purchase, and pig pumpkins for the smashing pumpkins feeding rounds with Farmer Dave. Please note there is no access to the river for this farm event.
There are chicks, ducks and hens free ranging the farm – always on the lookout for visitors who might have a bag of food in tow. Our old boy, George, and his gal pals in the sheep paddock never tire of the attention from our farm visitors. And the crazy goat crew will be vying for attention too, no doubt! Mischievous pigs will gather at the fence, squealing with delight as they impatiently await the much anticipated pumpkin feast that comes with visitors to the farm.
Bookings essential. Closed in footwear essential. No pets allowed. Waivers will be required for all visitors.
Easter Saturday, 4 April – 11am to 2pm
