Friday 19 June – 9am to 2.30pm
Hands in the earth, boots on the ground; this one is so much more than just learning about how we farm, we invite you to experience the luxury of eating like a farmer.
It’s easy to forget that the way our family lives is a luxury. Most don’t get the chance to experience growing and eating the food they’ve worked hard to produce and rear with care. We’re never left wondering where our food came from, how it was grown and raised, and whether it had just one bad day. We know this is a privileged way of life.
With Wild Canary by our side, we’re inviting you to get amongst it on the farm and feast with us, with food grown and reared right here on the farm. Enjoy a cuppa on arrival, morning tea, before feasting with us over lunch at The Barn. We’ve stripped away the fuss and fancy – this one will be raw, real and absolutely delicious.
Get amongst it at the dairy and help milk the cows, separate cream and make butter. Wander Harry’s Paddock and pull vegetables from the earth, collect the eggs from Tommy’s pastured hens, do the feeding rounds and smash pumpkins for the pigs. Join our family on the farm and experience the great privilege of eating food you’re connected to.
