Grow You Good Thing Market Day is a celebration of the spring growing season on our family farm.
Whether you choose to join our behind-the-scenes tour, get your hands dirty with ‘the planting’, create your own farm adventure with animal feeding and a picnic by the river, or just come along to stock up on our produce fresh from the farm, we’ll welcome you with open arms to embrace the joy of growing, cooking and eating simple good food.
Darlington State School are joining us to deliver delicious farm produce ready for all-day brekky and lunch, fresh juices and creamy milkshakes, and your coffee fix. We’d love you to support them with their efforts to raise money for their bus run. This little school creates a love of learning and community – our kids were so fortunate to spend their primary school years in that environment.
We’re planning some surprise stalls and interactive conversations across the days, all centred around – you guessed it – growing, cooking and eating good food!
There are a variety of ticket options so please read carefully before purchasing tickets to join us for the day.
Please note, the Deep in the Weeds tour (behind the scenes) starts prior to the general market day opening.
MARKET DAY General admission – 10.30AM TO 2PM
(Does not include Behind the Scenes tour)
Join us on the farm for our spring market day – Grow You Good Thing!
Create your own adventure feeding our friendly sheep & goats, chickens & ducks, and our Jersey Girls plus join Farmer Dave for the smashing pumpkins pig feeding tour. Get your hands in the earth and boots on the ground with ‘The Planting’ in Harry’s Paddock. With spring upon us, it’s time for rosellas to go in the ground and this year, we’re inviting you to join the farmers in the paddock to get the job done.
You’re welcome to picnic in the paddock with live music and views to The Lost World to set the scene for a beautiful day in the country. Take a stroll down by the river (hop on in for a swim if you’re so inclined). We’re also bringing back the Farm Scavenger Hunt and will have a ‘guess how many’ game running for those who love a little competition.
Don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our Jersey Girl ice creams – there are so many incredible flavours at the moment.
Bring your esky to fill with our pork, veal, eggs and creamery products. Harry will have some vege available and Lauren hopes to have her new vintage flower stall stocked with beautiful blooms from the paddock.
